I made it down to one more left to go
But the last step is always the hardest
Always waiting on the final push from someone
But no one can help me out
I’ve got to learn to do it on my own
No matter what
I’m already halfway down the ladder
Before I’ve even felt the first of frost
I’ve had a long history of giving up too soon
But the lesson is to do more than try
I’m afraid of the infinite
The lack of my effort is how I keep myself away from feeling the pain
I’m afraid of the infinite
Just what you could do with it
But maybe that’s what makes it all worth the effort
Make sure you’re the one holding the sign at the end that reads that nothing’s impossible
I never thought that I could make it here but now that I’m here I’m happier than I’ve ever been before
